TinyTell requires an account for authentication and access management. Your account lets you use the app without interruption and ensures a fast, reliable experience. We do not use your email for marketing or tracking — it's solely for authentication and essential service communications.

TinyTell records a short audio sample when you tap the analyze button so it can classify your baby's cry. The recording is sent to a private inference server operated by the developer, classified, and then immediately discarded. No audio is stored on the server.

On a private inference server operated by the developer (Hafs Ibrahim). Audio is transmitted over an encrypted connection, classified by a machine learning model, and discarded immediately after the result is returned. No third-party AI services, no cloud LLM providers, and no analytics vendors have access to your audio.

Each cry is classified into one of 9 categories — hungry, sleepy, gassy, and more. The app returns the most likely reasons with confidence scores, plus actionable advice for the top prediction.

• Check that you've granted microphone permission in iOS Settings → TinyTell.
• Ensure the app is running in the foreground when you tap Analyze.
• Verify your network connection — audio is sent to the inference server, so a connection is required at analyze time.

The current model achieves 90.5% accuracy on held-out test data. It was trained on real baby cry samples with phone-microphone simulation to match your device's recording quality. The model is operated entirely by the developer — no third-party AI services.

Yes — go to Settings within the app and tap "Clear cry history". Your insight history is stored locally on your device only, so clearing it removes all records. The server has no copy.

No. TinyTell is a caregiver-convenience tool only. It is not designed for medical diagnosis, treatment, or any clinical use. If you have concerns about your baby's health, contact your pediatrician or emergency services.
